Old secrets spill as sparks reignite...but will it be enough?

Aurora never thought she'd be a widow before forty. It's been five years since Jeff died, along with her heart. To prove to their daughter that she still knows how to have fun, Aurora agrees to help with her 25th reunion gala. She didn't count on working with Duncan, the handsome leading man from their choir and musical theater days. Some things never change, and one of them is his smile...the other is hot guys never go for curvy nerds.

Sixteen years ago Duncan lost everything when his wife left him, and he threw himself into work. When he's paired with someone back home to help him on the reunion decor, he didn't expect it to be Aurora, the woman he secretly pined after when they were kids in high school. Will Duncan take this chance to change everything? Or will the pain of their pasts keep them apart?

Free to read in KU!

After a not so pleasant past, I can't bring myself to live in a dorm. I've decided to take my inheritance, buy a massive house to live in and force my best friend, Nicky, to live with me. But I let him invite some friends too. Living with seven guys won't be a problem at all, right? That's my thought until I meet them.

One roommate is a blast from the past, bringing painful memories with him. Another one brings out something different. His stony mask should scare me away but it’s drawing me in more. I find myself in his arms and I can’t resist the possibility of a future with him. Right when I think I've got my life in control, another tragedy hits me. This one, I'm not sure how I’ll survive.
